What happens when Agile practitioners, community advocates, technologists, and nonprofit leaders come together around a meaningful challenge?
At PMI® Agile 2026, attendees will have the opportunity to find out through Hack for Good, a unique social impact experience designed to turn collaboration into tangible community outcomes.
In partnership with the Jubilee Association of Maryland, the Hack for Good “hackathon” invites participants to move beyond conversation and apply Agile thinking to real-world challenges faced by a nonprofit organization that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Over the course of this two-day activation, attendees can work alongside facilitators and Jubilee stakeholders to explore operational and technology challenges, generate ideas, and build practical solutions. Whether participants choose to drop in for a single session or engage throughout the experience, every contribution helps move ideas forward—from early concepts to working prototypes.
“Participants will collaborate across disciplines, experiment with Agile tools and techniques, and witness progress unfold in real time.”
Unlike a traditional conference session, Hack for Good is designed as a highly interactive, hands-on experience. Participants will collaborate across disciplines, experiment with Agile tools and techniques, and witness progress unfold in real time. The activation will culminate in a collection of outputs and recommendations that can be shared back with Jubilee, demonstrating the impact that can be achieved through collective effort and purpose-driven collaboration.
Learning Through Action
Hack for Good offers attendees an opportunity to experience Agile principles beyond theory. Participants will:
- Experience cutting-edge Agile tools, techniques, and collaborative methods firsthand.
- Practice planning, teamwork, and iterative problem-solving in a real-world environment.
- Explore how accessibility, simplicity, and intentional design enable diverse groups to contribute meaningfully.
- See how rapid collaboration can produce tangible outcomes in a short timeframe.
Whether you’re an experienced Agile practitioner or simply looking for a meaningful way to contribute during the conference, Hack for Good provides a unique opportunity to learn while creating lasting value for a community organization.
